The Mailing List ASTRO

The ASTRO mailing list is for discussing astronomical topics, exchanging news, results, and experiences related to professional and amateur astronomy. A particular emphasis of this list is all aspects of astronomical observing, from results of Hubble Space Telescope observations to planning and performing amateur meetings, from discussion of observing techniques to the light polution problem. Questions related to astronomy, as well as announces of services and new products (plus comments) are usually welcome. While open for any discussion on any aspect of conventional, or orthodox, astronomy (including related fields), this list is not for discussing religion (including creation), astrology, esoterics, new theories and exotic unorthodox physics, politics, or other threads not related to the science of astronomy.

  Due to unclear reasons, the usual mailing list unsubscription is sometimes not working. Therefore, the list owner has proposed to direct unsubscription requests to him until he has fixed the problem.
